Hi!
My name is Fernando San Nicolás and I work as an audio designer focusing on sound design and audio systems for games.
Currently working on the Madden NFL franchise, over the last years I have worked on Madden NFL 21, 22, 23 and Need For Speed Heat in features needing music & sound design, editing, technical/implementation support. In this role, I have also carried out sound design for gameplay and presentation in unreleased titles as well.
Previously, I worked on game audio localization for 15 years, leading the audio engineering of, among others, Mass Effect 2 and several titles from franchises like Battlefield and Star Wars Battlefront. During this time I was responsible for successfully supervising VO recordings, post-production and cinematics mixing for localized languages, as well as liaising with external audio vendors and contractors. Additionally, I worked closely with development teams at DICE/DICE LA to carry out faction VO recordings for the English and loc SKUs and localized crowd recordings for EA Sports franchises.
Furthermore, back in the mid 2000's I was a member of Elogoxa, a small group of developers working on innovative SynthEdit generated VST plug-ins. Our work was covered among others by the Sound on Sound magazine.

My start in the games industry back in 1998, included recording and/or editing dialogue for the Spanish version of classic titles like Half-Life, Baldur's Gate, Diablo Hellfire or StarCraft: Brood War. Have a look at the
